Endocrinology, Toxicology, and Drug Testing

WHAT IS...?
Endocrinology
       - it is the branch of science that deals with the different endocrine glands that secrete hormones and directly passes in the bloodstream to regulate our body in everyday life. In short, it is the study of whole endocrine system.

        It includes seven (7) major glands:


 Hypothalamus 
 Pituitary gland
Thyroid gland
Parathyroid gland
Adrenal gland
Pancreas
Gonands 



Toxicology
       - it is the study of poisons, toxins or chemicals that have an adverse affect inside the living organisms. Some says "it is the "science of poisons", and it is first began with the cave dwellers and used it for their hunting and welfare (example: poisonous plant extracts)." Drug Testing
       - it is an analysis or assessment if one person had taking an overdose medicine/drug for self-intention or for medical purposes. Others make use of this testing for screening when you will apply for something (e.g. jobs).
